One of Ghana’s leading First Division clubs has signed up with FootballAfrica Directory.
Berekum Arsenal FC has a rich and storied history, coming up from the Second Division to play in Ghana’s Premier League for 13 years before a temporary relegation to Division One. During this time BAFC produced top players like John Panstil (Fulham), Emmanuel Agyemang Badu (Udinese), Nana Poku (Club Shabab of UAE), and Stephen Kwadwo Sarfo (Tadamon Sour of Lebanon), as well as others who went on to play in other Ghanaian clubs like Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko and Liberty Professionals.
In July 2019 Berekum Arsenal competed successfully in the GFA Normalization Special Competition, defeating many Premier League clubs and reaching the Tier Two semi-finals before losing in a fine and exciting, hard fought match against Asante Kotoko.
