Besiktas JK Football Academy of Accra is a football club and academy, founded in 2009 as “Lenient International Football Club” by Mohammed Aminu Lenient Dauda, formerly a professionnl attacking midfielder, in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. In 2017 the club was renamed Besiktas JK Football Academy of Accra.

Beşiktaş JK Academy develops footballers in their physical game, their tactical awareness and their mental motivation, ensuring that they keep improving the skills they need to become winners.

Besiktas JK Football Academy of Accra plays in the Greater Accra Regional Football Association with the Division Two and Juvenile (U-13, U-15 and U-17) amateur divisions, a stepping stone for players coming out of local academies and training centers. In 2014 the Division Two team won the Zone Three (Greater Accra Regional Division) League Championship, but unfortunately did not qualify for Division One from the Middle League. The U15 were champions of the Evaluation Tournament, which was organized by the Ministry of Sports. In 2015 the U17 team won the U17 Youth Tournament, this being organized by Al-Nahyan Islamic Society of Ghana (NGO).

Since its creation, Besiktas JK Football Academy of Accra has seen more than 100 young people go through its training teams, aged from 10 to 24 years old. In the 2019-2020 season, the Academy is training 30 players for U-13, 25 players for U-15, 25 players for U-17 and 35 players in the Division Two team.  Lenient Dauda plans sessions, works on how players could improve, develop tactics, dispense advice and ultimately helps everyone develop both as individuals and as a team.

In 2013, one of the Academy’s players, Abdal Salim Odana Governor (popularly known as CK) had the opportunity to travel to Stockholm, Sweden to train with three teams: Åtvidabergs FF, Trelleborgs FF and Degerfors, but later came back home due to ankle injury.
